Edge Construction Limited have engaged the services of Abco Safety Logistics on all of our construction projects to date to provide the CDM-C services. Whilst Abco are contracted to Edge to act as our quasi in-house CDM-C they are completely impartial in their approach to the projects and will provide accurate regular reports to the directors of the company on what they find on site, whether it be subcontractor fault or our own in-house management and management policies.
They assist us in producing the Pre-Construction Information, The construction Phase Health and Safety Plan as well as coordinating the Health and Safety File at the project completion.
In conjunction with our site management team they review all of the Health and Safety information provided by the subcontractors to ensure that it complies to regulations.
In the rare occasion of an incident on site, they take full control of the situation and produce a detailed report of the incident that assists the company in determining the reasons behind it.
They liaise fully with the Health and Safety Executive on our behalf, ensuring that as a company we are fully aware of the expectations from the HSE and fully up to speed on any changes to legislation.
